Our Aussie Tiny Houses are built on trailers with wheels—so they’re classified as caravans which means no building permit is required. However, we always recommend checking with your local council about any specific rules around living in a caravan in your area.
Alternatively, if you're after full residential approval, our Class 1a Certifiable Tiny House is built to meet the same standards as traditional homes. This follows the standard council approval process for dwellings and is also eligible for the First Home Buyers Grant.

Can I order a tiny house from NSW?
Yes, we deliver our tiny houses Australia-wide! Our tiny houses are built to be roadworthy, and we work with reliable transport companies to ensure safe delivery.

How long will it take for my tiny house to be built?
Manufacturing a tiny house takes around 6-8 weeks, but due to our current build schedule, the lead time is approximately 5 to 6 months.

What is the cost to deliver to NSW?
Our transport partner ensures safe delivery to NSW, with the final delivery cost depending on your address, i.e. delivery to Sydney CBD is approx $6,500.

Can I customise my tiny house for NSW climate?
Our standard tiny houses come with R2.5 Ecowool insulation batts on all walls and a R1.4 insulated subfloor.
We also offer heating and cooling air conditioners, ceiling fans and double-glazed windows as an optional upgrade. All this ensures your home stays comfortable year-round.

Do I need a permit for my tiny house in NSW?
Our tiny houses are built on trailers and classified as caravans, so no building permit is required. We do recommend checking with your local council for specific regulations in your area. For a permanent, council-approved option, we also offer Class 1a Certifiable Tiny Houses.

How do I connect utilities in NSW?
Our tiny houses can be fully connected to mains power, water and gas, or they can be fully off-grid with solar systems, composting or incineration toilets and greywater management systems. We can guide you through the connection process.
